grammar nerd
Of course I looked it up. This is me, after all.
'farther' and 'further' are generally interchangeable, but 'farther' generally refers to a greater physical distance and 'further' to a metaphorical one.
Believe it or not I always wondered about those two words. I was just too lazy to do the work of finding out what the difference between the two was. Guess you're not the only grammar nerd out there!
